Intermittent fasting is a process through which a person reduces their calorie intake significantly to manage their weight through the elimination of fats. It is simple and can be done in various ways.
One of the approaches is whereby a person alternates their fasting days. A person decides which days of the week they would like to fast and feeds normally on the others. During their fasting days, they reduce their calorie intake to a quarter of what they are used to on normal days.
The other strategy is when a person restricts their meals to a certain time frame within a day. The time frame can be decided to suit their preference, but must be followed. For example, an individual can choose to eat only once a day or as many times as they want between 6 pm and 6 am.
